Generally it is advisable to prepare just as you would normally for an on-site interview. While there may be no interviewer directly interacting with you (as in video applications and recorded video interviews), you should still prepare for the video interview in the same manner as you would for a face-to-face interview.
In general the best way to do this is to learn about the company, think about why you applied for the current position and the reasons why you're the best person for the job. In addition, make sure you present yourself the way you want to - i.e. conduct the video in a tidy and quiet room. Wear an appropriate outfit, probably as if you were going into the company´s office for the interview.
We advise checking your equipment as early as possible. For example if you are conducting a recorded video interview, ideally, you should record your video interview more than 24 hours before the deadline, to avoid stress if something doesn’t go as planned.
